I absolutely loved this book! When I first saw the title I thought that it may be another version of Beauty and the Beast, but I am happy to say that I was wrong! While I love those stories, I feel like they are overdone at times. This story is about Ashley, who moves to Charlotte's Cove after a life altering event and Tyler, the town sheriff. Honestly, this book sucked me in and refused to let me go.
Ashley is such a strong woman who has been through a lot in her life. She knows that moving to Charlotte's Cove is the change she needs and she is looking forward to the slower pace of life. When she meets her new boss, she is immediately attracted to him. No matter how much she wants him, she knows she has to keep her distance.
Tyler wants nothing more than to make Ashley his. He knows that she is the only one for him, but his past mistake has made Ashley put distance between them. When he finally gets another chance, he will stop at nothing to finally make her his.
I really enjoyed how the story played out between Ashley and Tyler. I loved how Tyler would not give up on her, no matter how hard Ashley made things for him. This book had it all, suspense, love, heat, sexy men and a man who will stop at nothing to get the woman of his dreams. I can't say enough good things about this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes their alpha's sexy and their heroine's strong!!
