REVIEW

 As many of you know, second chance love stories are one of my favorites. There is just something about them that calls to me and I can't get enough. When I was presented with the opportunity to review this read, I jumped at the chance. And let me tell you, I'm so glad that I did.

 

Sydney has loved Tristan all of her life. He is all she has ever wanted, but she knew he had dreams bigger than their town, so she set him free. Not a day goes by that she doesn't long for him, but she knows that he will never forgive the secret she has kept from him for eight years.  

No matter how hard he has tried, no one has ever compared to Sydney. She has been there for him so many times over the years and he knows she is the only one his heart will ever love. When presented with an opportunity to work side by side, he doesn't pass it up. He knows that he wants another shot with her, but the secret she shares, may finally tear his heart in two. 

I absolutely loved their story. Tristan is a hard nut to crack, but once he finally lets someone in, he is one fierce lover.  Once you know everything that has happened in their past, it is easy to understand why Sydney kept her secret. The way Tristan had work through his feelings killed me and I felt so bad for Sydney. I am extremely happy with the way it ended. The author did a great job with these characters and I couldn't help but love them. If you like second chance stories as much as I do, you do not want to pass this one up!
