Autumn is starting her lifelong dream of becoming a midwife and can't wait to start her journey.  When she gets selected to train under one of the most prestigious obstetricians in Nashville, she knows she has to make a good first impression to win him over.  After all, she has also heard that he is one of the hardest doctors on his students.  When she meets him after a very eventful start of her first day, she can't get over how attractive he is or his attitude.  All she knows is that it is going to take all that she has to get through her training.

When Thorne sees Autumn for the first time, he can't believe that all of the nonsense that he has heard about the BOOM is true.  He is taken back by her beauty and knows he is going to have to keep his distance if they are both going to make it through her training.  However, the more time that goes by, the more he doesn't want to keep his distance and wants to have it all.

I loved Autumn and Thorne.  I loved the banter between the two and how their road to their HEA was a rocky one.  I loved each up and down and couldn't be happier with their ending.  The author did a great job of getting your attention and kept you turning the page.  I couldn't get enough of their story and I hope we get a check-in from them sometime in the future!

REVIEW

It goes without saying that I think Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of the the top authors out there.  The stories that she creates has a way of making you feel like you are in the story and witnessing everything that happens first hand.  The characters weave themselves into your heart and it feels like your happiness depends on their happiness.  I know, it's crazy, but that is truly how I feel about her books.  

Needless to say, this book is another that falls into that category for me.  I have wanted Tide to get his HEA since I read Falling Fast all those years ago.  There is something about reading about single fathers that just gets me and Tide is everything you could possibly want in a dad.  He loves Olivia and will do whatever he has to in order to give her whatever she needs, even if that means putting up with his ex's antics.  When he shows up at Aria's house to do some work, he knows that she is someone he wants to know.

The last thing Aria wanted to do was move back to her hometown, but that is exactly where she finds herself.  When she has an emergency at her new house and Tide is the person who shows up to help her she is blown away by how he now looks.  She always had a crush on him, but he didn't give her the time of day back then.  Now, the more he is around, the more she feels herself falling for him.  She can only hope that he feels the same way.

I am so happy with Tide and Aria's story.  I loved their journey to their HEA and I don't think I would change anything.  Aurora, you have once again knocked it out of the park.  I love your stories and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the future!
