     Aaron has wanted Marceline for years.  She is all he can think about and he wants to be a part of her life more than anything.  He has waited for so long and now the time is right to claim what is his.  When he gets the opportunity to make his move at a friend’s engagement party, he doesn’t hesitate.

     Marceline has a standard way of living, her daughter comes first and she has no social life.  Yes, she has friends, but she does not go out or anything else.  So when she goes to her friend’s engagement party, the last thing she expects is for Aaron to stake his claim.  She has been in love with him since high school and is completely floored when she finds out that he wants her and will not settle for anything less. 

     When they come together against a building in the rain, Marcy can’t believe what she did.  She also can’t believe Aaron wants to be with her and runs.  Only she doesn’t get very far.  Aaron finds her and lets her know in no uncertain terms that he wants her and will settle for nothing less.  Aaron always makes his interest known and makes Marcy come to terms with her feelings.  While she wants him, she is scared to depend on a man because she feels like it could lead to trouble.  The problem with that is that Marcy wants to lean on Aaron so much. 

     Can Aaron prove to her that his love is true?  That he will stand by her side forever?  Will Marcy finally take the leap and give herself to Aaron completely?  To find out, you will have to get the book.  I promise you that you will not be disappointed.  This book is HOT!!  Aaron is all alpha and is set on proving his love to Marcy.  He has loved her too long to let her go.  I can understand why Marcy was hesitant as she has a daughter that she has to think of and will not do anything to hurt her, but I was also frustrated with her because she deserves to be happy too.  I wanted Aaron and Marcy to get their HEA as they both deserved it.

     I truly enjoyed this book and you will too.  The ending was perfect and Aaron just made me love him that much more.  I hope as the series continues we will get updates on Aaron and Marcy because this book just did not give me enough!  I loved them and I hope you will too!

Katee Robert learned to tell stories at her grandpa’s knee. Her favorites then were the rather epic adventures of The Three Bears, but at age twelve she discovered romance novels and never looked back.

Though she dabbled in writing, life got in the way—as it often does—and she spent a few years traveling, living in both Philadelphia and Germany. In between traveling and raising her two wee ones, she had the crazy idea that she’d like to write a book and try to get published.

Her first novel was an epic fantasy that, God willing, will never see the light of day. From there, she dabbled in YA and horror, before finally finding speculative romance. Because, really, who wouldn’t want to write entire books about the smoking-hot relationships between two people?
