It is no secret that I am a huge fan of C.A. Harms. Anything she writes, I have to read. This book is no exception. We met Rhett in the first book of the Southern Boys series and I fell in love with him as a baby. With a Kori as his mom and Reed as his dad, I knew Rhett would be a wonderful character.
Rhett and AJ are absolutely perfect for each other. I loved how AJ did not give in immediately when Rhett finally wised up and realized what had been around all along. When Rhett's ex-girlfriend comes back to town, AJ has to decide if she is willing to accept Rhett's feelings for her or if she is going to let fear of his past ruin their relationship.
I could not get enough of this read. AJ and Rhett fit together perfectly and I could not have imagined a better pairing. I loved every minute I got to spend with this family again and I can't wait to read Mikey and Raven's story!!
