Wow!  I fell in love with book right from the beginning.  I loved the dynamics in the relationship between Arilyn and Stone.  Both were such strong characters who would do anything for the people they cared about, always putting their wants and needs last.

Arilyn had just ended a nasty relationship that lasted way too long and had no desire to jump back into the fire. She was stretched thin with various commitments and had no time for a personal life.  What she doesn't count on is the fire that comes back to life inside of her the more time she spends with the delectable cop.

Stone knows he has anger issues and the last thing he wants to do is go to anger management classes; however, he will do whatever it takes to made his boss happy in order to stay on the force.  When he realizes that the deliciously irritating Arilyn is who will be running the class, he doesn't know if he should throw in the towel or take his lumps like the man he is.  The more time he spends with Arilyn, the more layers are peeled back and he begins to want to be the man who makes her whole.

When they both give in to their desires and decide to embark on a relationship of sorts, you will need to bring out your fans!  Let me tell you, Officer Stone Petty is one HOT cop!!!  He knows exactly what Arilyn needs and he is not afraid to give it to her.  However, as their relationship progresses, will Stone be able to let go of his past and hope for a future with Arilyn?  Will Arilyn believe that the difference between Stone and her past boyfriends is a good thing?  You will need to pick up this little diddy in order to find out.

I truly enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end.  It has it all: angst, past betrayal, doubt, hot cop, limber yoga instructor, witty banter, STEAMY HOT scenes, adorable dogs, etc.  The list could really go on, but I think you get my jist.  If you pick up no other book to read, you need to read this one!  The author did a wonderful job of getting to the heart of the characters while keeping us on our toes.  I can't wait to see what she has in store for the people of Verily next!!
