Being left at the alter on your wedding day is devastating.

But when the man you are supposed to marry has run off with your younger sister, well, that’s an entirely new form of hell.

Everything I believed in, everything I envisioned for my future, was nothing more than a lie. I was a fool. The poor girl that couldn’t hold onto her man. Everyone pitied me, but I didn’t want nor need their pity.

Never again will I be the vulnerable one.

Never again will I allow myself to fall in love because let’s face it, love and commitment are nothing more than a waste of time.

Never again will I fall for a man’s lies.

I’ll remain distant and unattached and I will not falter. Not even when a tall, handsome, and incredibly hot man makes me question the plans I’ve made for myself.

I can’t give in, no matter how perfect he appears to be. I know better and all good things always come to a crashing, destructible finale. I know it will end and when it does, I’ll be the one left shattered.

I’m not sure I’ll survive another fall.

All the Wrong Choices, lead to heartbreak…

And my heart couldn’t take another hit.

REVIEW

Wow, what a way to start a book.  Right before Dani was getting ready to walk down the isle, she finds out that her future husband has ran off with her sister.  If that wasn't bad enough, shortly thereafter she finds out that they have been having an affair for a while.   At that point, she decides that she is done with men and dating.  The last thing she expects is Jonah to walk into her life.

When Jonah sees Dani for the first time, he knows that she is the person he is supposed to spend the rest of his life with.  He knows she is it for him and will do whatever he has to to convince her of this.  The more time he is around her, the harder he falls.  Now, he is on a mission to prove to her that he will be by her side no matter what life throws their way.

This story, man, it has all the feels.  I felt so bad for Dani, I mean, who wants to be left at the alter!  I couldn't help but hope she would get her HEA.  When she meets Jonah, I feel like she knows deep down that he is a game changer, but she is scared to put herself out there.  Jonah, he is the man that we all want in our lives.  He loves Dani fiercely and will settle for nothing else but her in his life.

I loved their journey together and I couldn't be happier with the ending.  The author did a great job of giving us all the feels and I enjoyed each and every word.  Great job Ms. Harms!  I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the future!

EXCERPT:
Hurrying to search for my phone, I open the side door and step outside. This is ridiculous, I know, but I'm panicking. The idea this could mean something more than a hook-up is more than I want to deal with right now.

My legs are shaky, and I know it isn't just because I'm sneaking out of a man's house at seven-fourteen in the morning.

I'm a mess. I just hope no parents of any of my students live anywhere near Jonah. I can imagine the conversations, and I cringe at the idea of how uncomfortable they would be.

"It's so early," Addison complains when she finally answers her phone after my third call.

"I need you to come to get me.”

MEET THE AUTHOR:

C.A. Harms is an avid romance and mystery reader. She's always had a love for books, getting lost in writing and storytelling even as a young girl. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories.

She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She holds an addiction for Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha’s and KitKat when she should really be focusing on water and maybe a fruit or two to make herself feel less guilty, but that feeling quickly passes...thankfully.

She is easy going, fun, and although she may seem like one of the quiet ones at first, you just wait until she gets to know you better...that quietness changes, fast.
