REVIEW

Aliyah Burke is a new author for me so I wasn't sure what to expect. The blurb sounded interesting so I thought I would give her a try and boy, am I happy I did. I really enjoyed this book. The chemistry between Parker and Skylar is off the charts, but both are hesitant to do anything about it. Parker thinks Skylar is too good for him and Skylar thinks Parker is nothing more than a party boy. When unforeseen forces push them together, they soon find out that there is more to each other than what meets the eyes.

The characters pull you in and keep you turning the pages to see if they both get what they need. You want them to get their HEA and for everything to work out, but you know that they have a lot of obstacles to face. I loved how Parker was adamant that Skylar would be his and how Skylar made him work for it. All in all, I'm glad that I took a chance on a new author and I can't wait to see what she has in the future for us!
