REVIEW

This book.....this book is so much more than your typical romance novel. It got me right from the beginning and and I was hooked. Right from the start we experience both Codie and Ryder's painful past and what has lead them to be the people they are today. Let's just say, they have to overcome a lot of hurt and pain.

Codie, wow, she is so much stronger then she realizes. She was dealt a horrible hand in life and yet, she hasn't quit. I loved her right from the beginning. My heart hurt for her and when Ryder shows up on her doorstep I couldn't help but scream YES!!

Ryder hasn't been his old self since his rescue and subsequent recovery. He feels a void inside that he doesn't know what to do with. When he spots his mysterious neighbor, he knows exactly what his heart wants. The only question is, can they finally find their HEA or will they lose everything?

I honestly could not put this book down. Once I started reading it, I had to know that Codie and Ryder would be okay. I had to know that they would help each other heal and overcome their demons. This book has it all: love, romance, fear, action and yes, a HEA. I can't recommend this book enough. Great job Ms. Donn!! I can't wait to read the other books in this series to watch the rest of these big, bad men fall!
