Yet with each passing second Beckett spent in the presence of Shanelle Kramer, he found that the need for her only grew. Her beauty alone made him weak in the knees and that was only the beginning.

I have no problem admitting that I am a huge
C.A. Harms fan. I love her books and her
style of writing. Once I start one, it
is hard for me to put and down. She is
one of the few authors that have me re-reading her books when I am need of a
fix. This book has now become part of my
re-read selection.
Beck is the youngest of the three brothers and is just as alpha as his brother Ashton. He is a detective with the NYPD and takes his job very seriously. Beck oozed charm and had the badass vibe rolling off him. I loved him!!!
Elle is a trauma nurse who wears her heart on her sleeve and has horrible luck with men. The last thing she wants is to fall victim to another man; however, she can’t deny what she is feeling for Beck. The more she is around him, the more she begins to hope that not all men are the same.
I adored the secondary characters in this read. They added something special and I don’t think the book would have been the same without them. Lex, Kimmy and Rick are amazing and I hope we get more from them.
If you are in the market for a book that has suspense, drama, hot sex scenes, chemistry, and hilarious banter, you don’t want to pass up this read! Beck is the ultimate hero and Elle is so adorable you can’t help but fall in love with them. Once again C.A. Harms has written a story that draws you in and makes you fall in love with the characters. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us with Knox, but I know it will be wonderful!
