Wow. I absolutely loved going on Stella and Evan's journey to find their HEA. Both characters have had horrible guidance in the love department, sans Stella's grandfather Nicholas. Neither of them are sure how to let go of the past to achieve true happiness.
I fell in love with both of these characters right from the start. Evan guards his heart because he doesn't believe there are true soul mates in the world and doesn't want the hassle of dealing with a relationship. Stella wants nothing more than to find true love, but all anyone wants from her is her fortune. Will they both be able to let their guards down to see what is right in front of them? In order to find out, you have to read this book. The realizations that Stella and Evan have are so touching and heartbreaking that you can't help but feel for them.
The author did a wonderful job of creating a story that you can get lost in. She made you feel as though whatever decisions Stella and Evan made had an impact on your like. I truly enjoyed this read and I can't wait to read more from this author soon!
