Synopsis: New to the Big Apple, the last thing Lexie Bloom needs is to fall for two guys at once. Especially when she can’t have either. One is her personal trainer, an Adonis way out of her league. The other? A Brit Lit professor her svelte boss insists she woo for her—via text message, no less. Little does she know, the two are the same man…
Matthew Hennessey is intrigued by his shy new client at the gym. But before he gets the chance to ask her out, he discovers she’s the one crafting the flirty texts sent to him by a woman who wouldn’t know Lord Byron from Lady Gaga. To get to know her better, he allows Lexie to play her role. She may have given up on the idea of romance, but Matthew’s bound and determined to show her love is alive and well in New York City.
REVIEW
This was such a sweet, fun book to read. I enjoyed this story right from the beginning. Lexie and Matthew just grabbed ahold of me and didn't want to let go. I wanted to know their story and to see them get their HEA.
Lexi is not in the market for a boyfriend; however, she can't ignore how hot the trainer is at the gym. The more she is around him, the harder it is to resist his sweet charms. However, she alsocan't ignore the way she feels when she is trading text with her boss' potential new date. She loves how smart and charming he is and she could easily fall for him.
Matthew is completely awe struck by the new customer at the gym. She is unlike any of the women he usually sees there and he can't help but try and get closer to her. When he finds out that is she the one behind the rest texts he is receiving, he can't believe his luck. Not only is Lexie beautiful, she is also smart and whitty.
So what happens when Lexie realizes she has fallen for Matthew? She will act on her urges to maul him or keep the distance between them? When she finds out what Matthew is hiding, will it be the end of their love story? In order to find out make sure you pick up a copy of this lovely read.
As I said before, I really enjoyed this book. The author did a wonderful job of creating a story that grabbed your attention from the first few pages and kept you glued to the book in order to find out how Lexie and Matthew's story plays out. I especially loved the ending. Is it just me or is there nothing better than a man who is willing to embarrass himself to win the girl's heart? In order to read the great "please forgive" scene, make sure to 1-click your copy today!
