Love Rekindled (Love Surfaced Series, Book
2)
SYNOPSIS:
Taylor
Delaney is the love of my life.
She’s also
the one I've hurt the most.
Two years
ago, I made a disastrous mistake.
One I’m not
sure I can make amends from.
But I have
to try, because I’m nothing without her.
Brad Ashby's
here, in my hometown, asking for a second chance.
All those
unresolved feelings for him have resurfaced.
Not that
they ever went away.
I know I
should run him out of the town, but I can’t.
He needs to
know that I wasn’t the only one who was deceived.
Even if we
gave our relationship another try, how can we rebuild what’s been destroyed? If
we weren’t strong enough then, what makes us strong enough now?

Review:
I have been anxiously awaiting this book since I finished
the last sentence in LOVE SURFACED. I felt like a stalker constantly checking
Michelle Lynn’s Facebook and blog pages to see if there was any info about when
we would get Brad and Taylor’s story. Each time I gained a little grain of
knowledge, it only made me more impatient.
So, when I was presented with the opportunity to review LOVE REKINDLED, you better believe I
jumped at the chance.
Just for reading the synopsis I knew this was going to be an
emotional rollercoaster. What I didn’t
realize was just how big that rollercoaster was going to be. Each one was broken and not sure how to put
the pieces of their life back together.
When Brad determines that Taylor is the only woman he wants in his life,
he knows he has an uphill batter in order to get her back. Taylor is shocked that Brad has showed back
up in her life willing to do anything to get her back. However, she is scared that once she reveals
a secret she has kept from him that he will change his mind.
Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed it right from the start and couldn’t
wait to find out what was going to happen next.
I loved reading about their journey back to each other. Their story was so heartbreaking and I couldn’t
help but want them to get their HEA. The
author did a wonderful job of keeping you engaged in the story and wondering
how it would all go.
If you are in the market for a second chance romance, I highly
recommend this one. I promise you will
not be disappointed!
Excerpt:
I'm a cheater. There. I said it. Two years ago, I fell into a hole, and as fast as my fingers clawed to escape, the dirt continued to pile on me. I'm not saying it's an excuse. I'm not even saying she should forgive me. Although, I hope she does. But I can't live without her anymore. I tried. I found a girl and proposed to her, while imagining the delicate finger I slid the ring on belonged to someone else. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't go through with marrying anyone but her. For sure, I never thought I'd say this, but I'm nothing without her. She brings out the good in me. That's why I'm here, in some small-ass town, to grovel my way back into her heart.
She's different now, and I'm not referring to the disappearance of her bleached blonde hair back to her natural brown. I loved her as a blonde, but the dark suits her better. I wouldn't care if she had rainbow-colored hair. I'm not sitting outside the hospital where she works, watching her walk to her car like some stalker, because she’s gorgeous. I’m here because of her heart and kindness. That’s what I’m fighting to get back. The package it comes in is just an added bonus.
Her ponytail swings back and forth as she laughs with what I hope is a co-worker, unless she's turned lesbian in the last two years. She waves good-bye to the girl and throws her purse into the passenger seat of her Jetta. The car has a little more rust than it did back in the day, but it's held up well. Still, it’s old and she deserves something newer.
She pulls out of her parking space, and my heart constricts as I watch her drive away from me again. I should duck down so she doesn’t see me, but my eyes won't veer from her. The beat-up Jetta passes and my stomach clenches. My hand itches to yank the car handle open. My feet beg to disobey and run to her. I don't have to, because she slams on the breaks and her eyes are locked on mine. Hope pours from mine while hers fume with anger.

Love Surfaced (Love Surfaced Series, Book 1)
Synopsis:
The equations are simple.
Piper Ashby + Brad Ashby = Twin Siblings
Brad Ashby + Tanner McCain = Best Friends
Piper Ashby + Tanner McCain = Off limits
Tanner and I abided by the rules. We stayed on our
designated sides of the relationship circle.
Ignoring swarming butterflies.
Brushing off skipped heartbeats.
Settling on lingering stares.
Here’s
the secret … a hand extended over that invisible line once, exponentially
changing the equation. I was convinced we could make our relationship work
until Tanner broke the trust he embedded in me from the age of seven.
One
deceit of mega proportions and the relationship we built for that short month
vanished. I swore never to speak to him again and it’s worked. Until now—two
years later, when my brother’s wedding places me face-to-face with the best
man—Tanner McCain.
Leaving
one equation to be solved. Can love surface twice?
