I have been anxiously awaiting this book since I finished Heat and let me say, it did not disappoint. I absolutely love Knox! He was written so well and I fell more in love with him with each turn of the page. Tinley was, without a doubt, perfect for Knox.
Knox wanted what his brothers had, but he had been burned in the past and was not willing to make the same mistake twice. However, when he notices Tinley at his brother's wedding reception, he couldn't take his eyes off her. When he sees her again at a bar, he know he has to do whatever it takes, even if it means getting Lexington's help, in order to see her again.
Tinley was such a strong person, even when she thought she wasn't. She was hurt badly by her ex and now wants nothing to do with the opposite sex. But each time she sees Knox, he knocks down a few more pieces of the wall surrounding her heart. Before long, she knows she either has to take the chance and tell him what happened to her or lose him forever.
I loved this read so much! The author did a wonderful job of bringing two people together who needed each other in every way possible. I can't say enough good things about this book without giving out any spoilers, so I will just stop here. However I will say that I am so happy that Lexington also got his HEA! Great job C.A. Harms! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!
